Can Fin Homes Ltd has selected IBM India to supply and maintain its core business solution for ₹297 crore over seven years. IBM will handle loan management, document management systems, and other processes. The contract includes a 12-month implementation, three-month warranty, and five years and nine months of support. The company reported a 6% YoY increase in net profit to ₹212 crore for Q3 FY25.

Motilal Oswal's research report on Can Fin Homes: Can Fin Homes (CANF)’s 2QFY25 PAT grew ~34% YoY to ~INR2.1b (in line). Base quarter had one-off credit costs because of the Ambala incident. NII grew 7% YoY to ~INR3.4b (in line), and other income stood at ~INR74m (PQ: INR70m). PAT grew ~20% YoY in 1HFY25, and we expect PAT to grow ~11% YoY in 2HFY25. Opex was up ~13% YoY to INR594m.

Can Fin Homes Ltd has selected IBM India to supply and maintain its core business solution for ₹297 crore over seven years. IBM will handle loan management, document management systems, and other processes. The contract includes a 12-month implementation, three-month warranty, and five years and nine months of support. The company reported a 6% YoY increase in net profit to ₹212 crore for Q3 FY25.
Can Fin Homes' Q3FY2025 results were below estimates due to weak loan growth, higher credit cost, and slight deterioration in asset quality, with PAT at Rs. 212 crore, up 5.9% y-o-y. However, Sharekhan maintains a BUY rating with a revised PT of Rs. 850, expecting AUM growth and asset quality improvement in FY25 and FY26.
Can Fin Homes saw weak loan growth of 9.1% YoY due to state-specific issues in Karnataka and Telangana, and asset quality deteriorated due to the RBI circular disallowing adjustments of customer advances against EMIs. The company targets 15% YoY credit growth in FY26E, but this may be challenging, leading to reduced loan growth estimates and a lower target price of Rs860.
Can Fin Homes' 3QFY25 PAT grew 6% YoY to INR2.1b, in line with expectations, driven by 5% YoY growth in NII, while opex rose 20% YoY. Motilal Oswal's research report on Can Fin Homes: Can Fin Homes (CANF)’s 2QFY25 PAT grew ~34% YoY to ~INR2.1b (in line). Base quarter had one-off credit costs because of the Ambala incident. NII grew 7% YoY to ~INR3.4b (in line), and other income stood at ~INR74m (PQ: INR70m). PAT grew ~20% YoY in 1HFY25, and we expect PAT to grow ~11% YoY in 2HFY25. Opex was up ~13% YoY to INR594m.

On Tuesday (October 22), Can Fin Homes Ltd, the housing finance unit of national lender Canara Bank, reported a 33.8% YoY increase in net profit at ₹211.5 Crore for the second quarter ending September 30, 2024. In the preceding fiscal quarter, Can Fin Homes reported a net profit of ₹158.1 Crore, according to a regulatory filing.
Mortgage lender Can Fin Homes shares rallied nearly 6% to Rs 879.9 in Wednesday's trade on BSE after the company reported a 33.8% year-on-year (YoY) surge in net profit at Rs 211.5 crore for the second quarter that ended September 30, 2024.In the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, the company posted a net profit of Rs 158.1 crore.
