After the passing of her husband and ace investor Rakesh Jhujhunwala in November 2022, his wife, Rekha Jhunjhunwala, inherited his portfolio. As of February 2024, Rekha Jhunjhunwala’s portfolio carries a net worth of over Rs.35,000 crores, with investments across several market sectors such as textiles, apparels & accessories, banking & finance and automobiles & auto components across 25 different companies. Over half the portfolio value is contributed by shareholding in Titan Company Limited, which was one of the most successful investments made by the late Rakesh Jhujhunwala. Recently, Concord Biotech - a biotech company based in Ahmedabad, backed by Rakesh Jhunjhunwalas Rare Enterprises and Quadria Capital, launched its IPO in early November . The company submitted an updated draft red herring prospectus (UDRHP) to SEBI, targeting a valuation of $950 million to $1 billion for the IPO. Jhunjhunwalas other key holdings are in Metro Brands Ltd, CRISIL Limited, Canara Bank and NCC Ltd among others.
